The Ohio Valley and Ohio Pass are a great place to see autumn gold and aspens in all their glory. You'll kick yourself if you don't bring a camera.
As you travel from Gunnison through the Ohio Valley towards Ohio Pass you're bound to stop your car several times to take in the scenery. In the Fall this makes you a "leaf peeper," an honorable appellation if ever there was one.
There's gold in Ouray also, in fact there is some gold just about everywhere in Colorado. There's a reason they call it COLORado!
